Manchester United winger Nani has vowed to stay and fight for his place at Old Trafford, amid reports he could be sold in the summer. After impressing in his first season following a £17million move from Sporting Lisbon in July 2007, the 22-year-old has endured a difficult campaign this time round. With just six Premier League starts to show for his efforts, the Portuguese ace has had to patiently bide his time as he waits for an opportunity this term.Manager Sir Alex Ferguson handed Nani a rare start in the league clash against Tottenham on Saturday but was dragged off at half-time with United trailing 2-0.To compound the winger's misery, the champions went on to win the game 5-2, leaving many people to question how long he will remain a United player."It is very difficult at a club like Manchester United because there are so many good players here," he told the Sunday Mirror."It is hard when you are not playing but I am happy here and I have confidence that I can be a part of everything."The manager has not said anything to me but I want to stay. I don't want to leave and nothing has been said about leaving."[LNB]
