Nani is determined to finish the season in style and help Manchester United regain the Barclays Premier League championship from Chelsea.

The Portuguese winger has weighed in with 10 goals going into the vital match against Liverpool on Sunday and is arguably enjoying his best season at Old Trafford.

United are anxious to bounce back following the defeat by Chelsea and Nani wants to get a third title winner's medal.

He told 'I am really happy but it's what I do from now until the end of the season that really counts.

'Everything I do has the potential to be very important, to play a big role in helping us to hopefully win the league. I want to give my best and keep performing.

'I feel great I've been able to help my team a lot but that won't mean anything if we're not successful.

'We're in a good position in the Premier League and we'll do our best to win the Champions League and FA Cup as well.

'Some people are saying I'm one of the most important players in the team, somebody who can provide a bit of magic, but I still think I can improve certain aspects of my game. I'd like to score more goals and create more chances.'

Nani has revealed how hours of practice as a boy led to him being able to score with his left as well as right foot.

Fine form: Nani has found the net ten times this season

Six of his 10 goals have come from his left foot - a statistic he is proud of.

Nani said: 'When I was very young I used to go to the local square where we played football and practice alone.

'Sometimes I would spend all afternoon there, practicing with my right foot and then with my left foot.

'I'd practice curling the ball, hitting it hard. I always wanted to improve. Now I know that all my hard work has paid off.

'It doesn't matter to me which side I play on because I am confident of beating my opponent on either side and I can cross and shoot with both feet.'

United will be without central defender Nemnaja Vidic as he is suspended after being sent off at Stamford Bridge. Wes Brown looks likely to step in and partner Chris Smalling with Rio Ferdinand still injured.
