Everton boss David Moyes has challenged his players to maintain the feelgood factor around the club following a wonderful week for the Toffees. With a place in the FA Cup final secured after a penalty shoot-out against Manchester United as well as a draw at Chelsea, Moyes has arguably not had a better week in his career. However, he is keen to keep the momentum going in the short and long term.Everton are only a point adrift of Aston Villa in the race for fifth place and face Manchester City at Goodison Park on Saturday.Moyes said: "The cup final is a long way ahead so I don't want my players to take their eye off the ball."We want to finish above Aston Villa in fifth place and with a decent points total. If we were to claim that spot it would be a terrific achievement."We have to try and keep moving forward and it has been another year of progress as we have reached a cup final."The club as a whole is moving on, we are well under way in its development and trying to bring it back to the top again."It has not be done with a lot of cash, it has been done correctly with decent management. But if we are going to push them (the top four) we are going to have to get some money in to improve the squad."Everton's supporters will raise the roof when they welcome the cup finalists home and there is mutual respect, according to Moyes. He said: "The players deserve a reception because of their efforts on Sunday and in midweek."But the fans also deserve a round of applause because undoubtedly they played their part."The way the players went about their work was fantastic. I am really pleased the way they have conducted themselves. They are expected to perform week in, week out, and in the main they have done that."To reach the final has been terrific for the players and everyone connected with the club. We want to make sure we go on and win it."We feel good about ourselves and have a lot of confidence. Hopefully we will be able to show that on our return to Goodison."Manchester City have some talented players but we want to maintain our good home form of recent weeks."On-loan striker Jo will sit out the match as it is against his parent club. The Brazilian's absence could see Louis Saha return to the team following the draw with Chelsea in midweek.Moyes said: "I have been quiet pleased with him. He has certainly contributed with his goals and has come on at different times in games and helped us."Midfielder Marouane Fellaini missed the game at Stamford Bridge because of a knee problem and his fitness will be monitored in the hours leading up to the match.[LNB]
