Ipswich boss Roy Keane has bolstered his squad with the signing of Lee Martin from his former club Manchester United. The 22-year-old was unable to make the breakthrough into the first-team picture at Old Trafford and has now signed a four-year deal at Portman Road. Martin made three appearances for United and spent loan spells with Rangers, Stoke, Plymouth, Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest. He told the club's official website: "It obviously wasn't an easy decision to leave a club like Manchester United but I know how ambitious the manager is here and I'm delighted to be a part of his plans for the future. "It's also important for me to be playing regular first-team football and hopefully I can help Ipswich get back in the Premier League."
