Manchester United star Park Ji-sung insists the Red Devils are still confident about reaching the Champions League semi-finals for the fourth successive season.[LNB]United surrendered an early lead against Bayern Munich on Tuesday night and Ivica Olic's injury-time winner means they will have to overturn a 2-1 deficit if they are to book a meeting with either Lyon or Bordeaux.[LNB]Already English clubs have endured mixed results in similar situations this season.[LNB] Battle: Manchester United face an uphill battle after their defeat in Munich[LNB]Whilst Arsenal came from behind to defeat Porto in the last round, Chelsea were unable to claw their way back against Inter Milan and in fact went onto lose the second leg against the Italians.[LNB]And Park, who failed to impress as he did against AC Milan and Liverpool recently, accepts United will have a tough job at Old Trafford next Wednesday.[LNB]Yet the South Korean is optimistic that his team can make it through, even though they could be without Wayne Rooney who suffered an ankle injury in the last minute of Tuesday's match.[LNB]'We are disappointed because we were leading,' said Park. 'The early goal was good for us but we weren't able to build on it and get the result. But we have our chance to go through at Old Trafford.[LNB]'Bayern have an experienced team, and the club has a proud history.[LNB]'They did well but the situation will be different at Old Trafford. We're waiting for them to come there.'[LNB] Wayne Rooney injury nightmare: Manchester United and England fans pray striker has not broken his foot... againBayern 2 Man United 1: Pain for Wayne after Olic provides late stingNeville right back in his old routine - but Ribery suggests end may be nearMartin Samuel: Not since Cinderella has so much rested on one footMunich Match Zone: Manchester United's golden oldies blow leadWayne Rooney in agony after injuring ankle: World Cup fear for United starMANCHESTER UNITED FC
