Follow Sportsmail's coverage of the FA Cup fifth round, where non-league Crawley will aim to cause one of the competition's biggest ever upsets when they travel to Premier League leaders Manchester United at Old Trafford. Email me all your thoughts on the match at dan.ripley@dailymail.co.uk[LNB] Manchester United 1-0 Crawley (5.15pm)Man Utd: Lindegaard, Rafael Da Silva (Smalling 54),Brown, O'Shea, Fabio Da Silva (Fletcher 69), Carrick, Anderson (Rooney 46), Gibson, Bebe,Hernandez, Obertan.Subs: Kuszczak, King,Pogba, Tunnicliffe.[LNB]Goals: Brown 28.[LNB]Crawley Town: Kuipers, Hunt, Mills, McFadzean, Howell, Gibson (Cook 69), Smith (Rusk 81),Bulman, Torres, Tubbs, McAllister (Brodie 63).Subs: Shearer, Rents, Wilson, Napper.[LNB]Referee: Lee Probert (Wiltshire) [LNB]19.19: So it wasn't to be for Crawley as they go back to the bread and butter stuff of the Conference.[LNB]United take the win but nothing else. They avoided a slip up but it should never have even been that close. Bebe and Obertan's United careers may not have long left to run after this.[LNB]That's all from me here, thank you for following and enjoy the rest of your weekend.[LNB]19.16: Sportsmail's Ian Ladyman on twitter:[LNB]If Bebe, Obertan etc are gonna take stick for this, worth noting that Rooney has been rubbish since he came on.[LNB]19.13: United win the football match and progress to the quarter-finals, but that doesn't even begin to tell the whole story.[LNB]The hosts were very poor today and Fergie looked far from happy as that game came to a close.[LNB]19.10: Stupid, Crawley take too long to take it as Kuipers casually jogs the 30 yards to prepare along punt and Le Probert correctly doesn't add any more additional time and blows for full-time.[LNB]Full-time: Manchester United 1-0 Crawley[LNB]90+5min: One more chance for Crawley, as they win a free-kick 55 yards out.[LNB]90+3min: United with a chance at the other end. Rooney controls Hernandez's cross well but his low shot just zips past the post.[LNB]90+2min: Corner for Crawley, no sign of Kuipers though. DRAMA! The ball in finds Brodie at the far post whose looping header beats Lindegaard and bounces off the crossbar, before Torres heads the rebound wide.[LNB]90+1min: Four added minutes for Crawley to grab what would be a deserved draw.[LNB]90min: Poor from Bebe, he has been quite bad this evening, even his first touch is letting him down now as the ball clumsily bounces off both of his heels before losing possession.[LNB]89min: A booking or Rooney after quite a frustrating push on Howell.[LNB] Over the top: Tubb's overhead kick took a slight deflection off Brown[LNB]86min: One of the strangest games of football I have ever seen, Crawley have been camped inside the United half for the past 20 minutes yet have still yet to get a reasonable shot on target.[LNB]84min: Again disappointing, Tubb's elects for power but it flies well high over the bar.[LNB]83min: Brown slips in possession but prevents a Crawley from getting the ball by effectively diving on it and handling it.[LNB]He is unsurprisingly booked and the visitors have a free-kick 30 yards out central to goal.[LNB]81min: One final change for Crawley, Simon Rusk is on for Smith.[LNB]78min: Lindegaard still remains untroubled as Howell slips, sending his free-kick well over the bar.[LNB]77min: Smalling is eventually penalised for a foul and Crawley have a free-kick 25 yards out.[LNB]74min: How has this not gone in!? Cook's work on the right is superb and his cross to the far post is poorly headed up by Fletcher. After Smith wins the header, Tubb's overhead kick from six yards out deflects off Brown and over the bar.[LNB]United get away with that big time. First neither the ref or his assistant spot the deflection, hence giving United a goal kick and Smalling was clearly pulling on Smith's shirt as the Crawley midfielder won the header. For me a blatant penalty.[LNB]72min: There is the chance! Brodie does fantastic to escape Fletcher on the left and from the byline his cross finds an unmarked David Hunt who volleys wide.[LNB]69min: Fabio looks hurt as he limps off to the touchline and yes he is coming off, just three conventional defenders for United now as Darren Fletcher replaces him.[LNB]For Crawley, Jamie Cook is on for Willie Gibson.[LNB] On the run: Torres (right) attempts to escape the attention of Fabio[LNB]66min: Probably Bebe's best moment of the match. With not a lot of space on the right he swings one in to the back post where Rooney is inches away from making contact.[LNB]63min: On comes Richard Brodie in place of McAllister as Steve Evans rings his first change.[LNB]60min: Still finely poised after an hour, as time runs out for Crawley I can see them throwing a few men forward and that could be when they get their chance.[LNB]57min: For all their great play, still no shots from Crawley, my other concern is that the strike force is getting a little bit too easily shoved off the ball.[LNB]54min: He has not had a great game and it gets worse. Torres initially shows good skill on a run but a heavy touch takes it away from him and his desperate lunge to get the ball back sees him clatter in to Rafael and earn himself a booking.[LNB]Rafael is then replaced by Smalling.[LNB]53min: Crawley the better side this half so far and Fergie seems to have had enough as he prepares Chris Smalling to come on.[LNB]51min: I am telling you now that is Premier League stuff there. Crawley switch it from the right-to-left and back again with some good passing and clever flicks outside the united box. As ever though nobody can get a shot in to finish the move.[LNB]48min: Fantastic from Mills. Rooney sends Obertan free on the left and his low cross along the six yard box is importantly cleared by the Crawley captain.[LNB] Collision course: Crawley's Kyle McFadzean (right) tackles Manchester United's Obertan[LNB]47min: This is Crawley all over in this game, a dangerous ball is fired in to the box but it just fails to fall nicely for Tubbs and United eventually get to scramble the ball clear.[LNB]Second-half: Here come the big gun. Rooney is on for Anderson as United get us back underway.[LNB]18.14: As for United, slightly worried about some of their fringe players. Gibson and to a degree Obertan have played well but Bebe was anonymous in that first-half and I think Fergie will be disappointed with the latter's contribution, or rather the lack of it.[LNB]18.10: My only concern is their shooting boots. Lindegaard hasn't had a save to make but Crawley only need a slice of luck that has eluded them so far to present them a golden chance to get back in to this.[LNB]18.06: It's not over yet. Bar a 10 minute spell after that goal, Crawley were more than holding their own. I have seen plenty of Premier League clubs perform much worse than that this season at Old Trafford.[LNB]Half-time: Manchester United 1-0 Crawley[LNB]45min: One minute added on.[LNB]44min: Good finish to the half for the visitors. Howell's cross is a good one but Brown makes the slightest contact with his head to take the ball away from Matthew Tubbs.[LNB]41min: Some trickery from Hernandez manges to find him space on the byline but his low cross doesn't have a  United player near it as it flashes across goal and out to safety.[LNB] At arm's length: Manchester United's Anderson (left) keeps Crawley's Torres at bay[LNB]38min: It really is all United now, Obertan flashes a powerful shot inside the box but it's a decent save from Kuipers who manages to turn it out to safety.[LNB]37min: They could have switched it to Crawley's ground, so the plastic Mancs woudn't have so far to travel.[LNB]Stuart Newton[LNB]35min: Fabio claims a penalty after going down easily under a challenge from Dean Howell, but referee Lee Probert just tells him to get up. Probably should have been booked for that in truth.[LNB]34min: Floodgates indeed. Gibson again is perfect with a low through pass but it's Fabio who is on the receiving end and it's a very poor finish inside the box from the full-back as it goes low and well wide.[LNB]32min: Slightly harsh on Crawley that. They have been more than a match for their more illustrious opponents and it hasn't been a 'park the bus' job by any means.[LNB]Brown and out? Wes Brown heads Manchester United in front against non-league Crawley[LNB]29min: GOAL! MANCHESTER UNITED 1-0 Crawley[LNB]Floodgates? From the corner, Gibson receives the ball on the corner of the box and his second delightful cross in a matter of seconds finds an unmarked Wes Brown who with his back to goal heads, impressively in to the bottom corner.[LNB]28min: Surprised he has surrendered that chance. Darron Gibson chips in a superb ball over the top for Javier Hernandez but instead of hitting it first time he takes a hesitant touch which enables Crawley to scamper it out for a corner.[LNB]26min: Super run from Obertan. United break and his big touch on the left enables him to scamper past two Crawley defenders before his cross is deflected behind for a corner.[LNB]24min: The visitors have another half-chance as a cross from deep is headed on target by Craig McAllister but lacks the power to really trouble Lindegaard.[LNB]22min: Half-chance for Crawley as a long throw in the box just fails to fall kindly for Smith before United clear.[LNB]20min: Doesn't take long for someone to stick the boot into Crawley, wasn't expecting it to be highly respected F1 photographer Darren Heath though.[LNB]Wondering how many of those Crawley 'fans' will be at their next home game? Nothing but glory hunters just like the plastic Mancs. [LNB]18min: Not quite Cristiano Ronaldo just yet. Bebe shows some quick feet on the touchline but his final touch to make space for a cross is just a little over hit as it goes out for a goal kick.[LNB]16min: Quarter-of-an-hour gone and still Michel Kuipers has had hardly anything to do. Home fans starting to get restless.[LNB]13min: United fans are not too up for this one, plenty of red seats dotted around the ground and it's the 9,000 visiting fans making all the noise.[LNB]11min: Well that would have been a story. Ben Smith hits a first-time volley from 22 yards that dips over Anders Lindegaard and just wide. The United keeper looked beaten.[LNB]9min: You can the genuine class in the United side, Fabio manages to skillfully make his way to the byline but his cutback in the box is intercepted and cleared by Pablo Mills. Good 10 minutes for the non-league side though.[LNB]8min: Anderson is off on the touchline, trying to get his boots sorted out. That's twice I have seen that in a week after Spurs' William Gallas had a similar problem at Sunderland.[LNB]You would have thought with all that money they earn they could at least afford a half-decent pair of boots.[LNB] Up for the cup: Crawley fans show their support inside Old Trafford[LNB]6min: Crawley are standing their ground well, it's not wave after wave of attack from the home side who are quite happy to just play keep-ball for the time being.[LNB]3min: Successive corners for United, and after going short on the second, Gabriel Obertan fizzes a cross along the six-yard-box which lacked any United player to apply the simple touch.[LNB]Kick-off: Crawley kick-us off.[LNB]17.14: Teams are out, quite a few in the ground to see this. As you would expect the away end is packed to capacity.[LNB]17.11: Makeno mistake though, this is a strong squad that will probably getpromoted in to the Football League come the end of the season.[LNB]This is going to be the best chance for a Conference side to really progress in the cup for a long time to come.[LNB]Whether they join Tottenham in being the only non-league side to win the FA Cup though is probably a little too much. Spurs got in while there wasn't too much of a gap between non-league and the top in 1901, and will probably always be the only club to achieve that unique feat. [LNB]17.08: Not everyone around the country is backing Crawley for this game.[LNB]They have not endeared themselves to their fellow non-league challengers with the way they have conducted themselves in the Conference.[LNB]Don't let that take you away from the main event though. Big spenders or not, if Crawley knock United out the cup it will be nothing less than sensational.[LNB]17.05: Crawley pitch up at Old Trafford this afternoon for the FA Cup tie of a lifetime hoping to achieve their mission impossible of becoming the first non-league team to reach the sixth round in the modern era.[LNB]They may be regarded as the Manchester City of the Blue Square Premier League but these Red Devils are dwarfed by the other side who go by that nickname.[LNB]And even against a Manchester United team that included Bebe, Gabriel Obertan and Anders Lindegaard, the Sussex outfit are overwhelming underdogs, although they can take comfort from the knowledge both Exeter and Burton took Sir Alex Ferguson's men to replays a few years back.[LNB]17.02: No Wayne Rooney bicycle kicks to worry about at least from the start for Crawley, team news from Old Trafford:[LNB]Man Utd v Crawley TownMan Utd: Lindegaard, Rafael Da Silva, Brown, O'Shea, Fabio Da Silva, Carrick, Anderson, Gibson, Bebe, Hernandez, Obertan. Subs: Kuszczak, Rooney, Smalling, Fletcher, King, Pogba, Tunnicliffe.Crawley Town: Kuipers, Hunt, Mills, McFadzean, Howell, Gibson, Smith, Bulman, Torres, Tubbs, McAllister. Subs: Shearer, Rusk, Rents, Wilson, Cook, Napper, Brodie.Referee: Lee Probert (Wiltshire)[LNB]17.00: Be honest how many of you have stuck a cheeky tenner on the visitors to win this encounter? Easy money if it comes in, but are Crawley really up to the task of pulling off the giant killing to end all giant killings.[LNB]I have learned by now not to take anything for granted in the FA Cup so maybe, just maybe they can. All eyes are on the team news first which is coming up.[LNB] The real Torres: Crawley's Sergio Torres will aim to do better than his namesake Fernando when his side travel to Old Trafford in the FA Cup fifth round[LNB]  Michael Carrick: United won't take Crawley Town lightly in FA Cup clashCrawley players warned: Betting on Rooney's shirt could lead to troubleAs Crawley Town prepare for Old Trafford, Sportsmail looks back at the other five non-League sides to reach the last 16 of the FA CupAll the latest Manchester United news, features and opinion[LNB]  Explore more:People: Alex Ferguson, Fabio Da Silva, Gabriel Obertan, Wayne Rooney, Bebe, William Gallas, Cristiano Ronaldo, Wes Brown, Darren Fletcher Places: Exeter Organisations: Football League
