Manchester United could return with a 3rd bid for Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas in January; if the Spain international, is not getting regular football - The Sun reports.

Manager David Moyes has been frustrated in his attempts to bring in the Barcelona star, as he looks to bolster his midfield options. The Scot has seen bids of £30million and £34million rejected by the Catalan giants.

Former Arsenal star Fabregas has stated he is happy at his hometown 'dream' club; but he may see his chances limited at Barcelona next season.

And with the World Cup next summer, the 26 year old will be wanting first team football, and he may have a change of heart and return to the Premier League January; to boost his chances of nailing down a starting berth for Spain.
