Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez surprised at immediate impact in English football

Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez admits he is surprised at how quickly he has adapted to English football.[LNB]The 22-year-old Mexico international arrived at Old Trafford last summer from Guadalajara and has proved a big hit in his first season.[LNB]'Chicharito' has scored 14 goals in 32 appearances for United despite facing stiff competition from fellow forwards Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov.[LNB] Flying start: Hernandez has been an instant hit at Old Trafford[LNB] Hernandez admits he has featured more often than he anticipated and is excited about the challenges that lie ahead.[LNB]'I thought that during my first season in England I was going to spend a lot of time sitting on the bench, getting adapted to English football, but it hasn't been that way and I feel that I am very lucky,' he told Mediotiempo.[LNB]'I am very lucky to be where I am and I am happy having played so many games in the most important team in the world.[LNB]'I am having fun at Manchester United and I want to keep on doing things correctly.'[LNB]When Hernandez has had to make do with a place on the bench, he has often made a match-winning contribution, including scoring the winner against West Brom at The Hawthorns.[LNB]But the Mexican played down his role and insisted that scoring goals is a team effort.[LNB]'I am happy to have scored so many goals but I don't put any pressure on myself, I don't like to say how many goals I can score, the only thing that I want is to win titles with United,' he added.[LNB]'I am enjoying scoring goals because that is what is expected from a striker but I always say that the strikers can score goals when there is a good work done by all the team, you can't do everything on your own.'[LNB]  Everton boss Moyes facing fight to get Rodwell to stick with ToffeesWe can beat United!
