The Daily Mail have reported that Manchester United are looking to prise one of Chelsea highly rated youngsters Conor Hunte.

The 16-year-old is yet to sign a professional contract with the Blues and has already attracted interest from some of the Premier Leagues biggest clubs, including Liverpool and Manchester City.

Although it is thought Manchester United are most keen to sign the England U17 and are stepping up their efforts to make a deal happen.

Hunte is considered one of the brightest prospects of English football and he is a player Chelsea will most certainly not want to lose.

If United were to complete any deal for the teenager they would have to pay a compensation fee to Chelsea for training and development costs, although the figure for that is not currently known.

Chelsea would hate nothing more than if one of their youngest and brightest talents were to leave to such bitter rivals Manchester United but until Hunte signs a professional contract he is vulnerable to approaches from interested sides.
