Manchester United have signed Senegal international Mame Biram Diouf from Norwegian side FK Molde for an undisclosed fee. The 21-year-old is known as one of the most exciting young players in the Norwegian league and follows in the footsteps of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who moved to Old Trafford from Molde 13 years ago. United have signed the Under 20 international on a three-year deal but he will be loaned back to Molde until January. Sir Alex Ferguson said: 'We weren't going to sign him yet but there was a lot of interest developing from other clubs and we didn't want to get caught out, so we moved quickly to bring him here.' 'We've been looking at him for two years. We weren't intending on signing anyone else after last week - we feel we have a full squad - but the situation accelerated to a point where other clubs started to make bids. 'We decided to act and he'll be the last person we sign.'
