Manchester United are set to sign Ever Banega for £20 million during the summer, according to the Daily Star.

The Red Devils have been keeping a very close eye on the 25-year old playmaker, who currently plays for La Liga’s Valencia, with United having scouted him at least three times.

After Banega has expressed his desire to the leave the club, Valencia has agreed that he can do so.

Valencia, who will keep the player in their lineup during the January window, are prepared to sell him to Manchester United for a fee of £20 million.

After the disappointing and humiliating summer transfer Manchester United have suffered last summer, they are desperate to bring in new blood. Moyes will try to make up for it during the next upcoming transfer windows.

United seems to be heading the race to bring in the Argentinean playmaker to Old Trafford this summer. The Valencia man has attracted the attention of Premier League teams like Arsenal and Tottenham and Serie A Juventus but it seems they are set for disappointment.

Arsenal and Tottenham who have been determined to bring Banega to London, are reportedly missing out on him as he is set to head to Old Trafford.
