Manchester United players nurse hangovers after celebrating title win

Share[LNB]There will be plenty of hangovers in Manchester today, and it wasn't only supporters who over-indulged on Saturday night.[LNB]Manchester United made another piece of history when they drew at Blackburn to seal a record 19th league title.[LNB]Despite only having seven titles before their 1993 triumph, United have now overtaken their great rivals Liverpool.[LNB]And the players toasted their success long into the night back in Manchester.[LNB] Night on the town: United stars Javier Hernandez, Antonio Valencia, Rafael and Fabio Da Silva, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Michael Carrick and Dimitar Berbatov[LNB]United's star defender Rio Ferdinand posted on Twitter: 'Sing songs galore, loads a #movement on the dance floor + yes....the boys partied HARD!!! Oooooooff!!'[LNB]Ferdinand also shared a picture of Michael Owen and Nemanja Vidic enjoying themselves, with the message '@themichaelowen + vidic celebrating like champions!! Aiming to #stayonyourfeet all night!'[LNB]And Michael Owen admitted he would be more than a little bleary-eyed after his night on the town. He posted on his Twitter account: 'A bit hungover this morning. I'm off to a Christening today where I'm excited to be god parent to my best friends son #notimetosoberup'.[LNB] Toasting United's triumph: Michael Owen and Nemanja Vidic[LNB]Gary Neville, the United stalwart who retired from the game earlier in the season, said: 'Maybe not Attack this day!! Get through it today ! We can attack tomorrow ! How bad is Tequila?'[LNB]It's probably fair to say that Wayne Rooney isn't the most popular man on Merseyside, and he won't be added to any Christmas card lists after his message on the social networking site.[LNB]He wrote: 'souser knocks Liverpool of there perch. Haha. An evertoniian aswell. Yes. People. U can't imagine how happy I am tonight.
