Manchester United open talks with superstar striker

Manchester United are ready to open talks with Paris Saint-Germain's Swedish Superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to Spanish newspaper Fichajes.

Last week Ibrahimović was linked with a move to the newly emerging MLS franchise in Miami but today it has been reported that Manchester United are planning to make contact with the Swede, who will be a free agent in the summer.

Manchester United currently have just three recognised strikers on their books with two of them, James Wilson and Anthony Martial being only nineteen years old. The third is Wayne Rooney.

This area of the Red Devils squad has been massively scrutinised as they have found goals very hard to come by from the strikers.

United Manager Louis Van Gaal has resorted to playing Memphis Depay and Marouane Fellaini out of position at the top of the formation.

England fans would be familiar with Ibrahimović as he scored a bicycle kick from outside the box against them in a friendly whilst on international duty.

The 34-year-old has said that he will be leaving the French capital in the summer and also has been linked to his former club Malmo.
