According to the Mirror, Sir Alex Ferguson's South American contacts tipped him off about the promising 17-year-old centre-back, who is set to follow compatriots Rafael and Fabio Da Silva to Old Trafford. [LNB]The initial fee has yet to be disclosed but reports suggest the deal could be worth up to £5 million if Dodo becomes a regular in the United side. [LNB]That, though, will be easier said than done as Sir Alex Ferguson's men march on towards yet another Premier League crown. [LNB]Portsmouth manager Paul Hart believes the title is in the bag for United after his team were beaten 2-0 at Old Trafford last night. [LNB]The reigning champions struggled to overcome Pompey, with Wayne Rooney and Michael Carrick scoring the goals that opened up a three-point lead over Liverpool at the summit. [LNB]Considering United also have a game in hand and their north-west rivals only have five to play, it seems the championship race is firmly in United's favour. [LNB]Hart certainly thinks so, saying: "I can't see anything to stop them becoming champions. [LNB]"They are an extremely good side and the result at Anfield on Tuesday was a major boost for them."[LNB]Not for the first time, Paul Scholes came to the rescue, marking his entry into United's exclusive 600 club with a sublime pass to set up Carrick near the end. [LNB]"It is not difficult for me to appreciate Paul Scholes," said Hart. "I use him as an example to all the kids I work with at Portsmouth and have done for many years. [LNB]"Whatever anyone says about Paul Scholes, I have said it as well. [LNB]"He is a shining example of someone who doesn't take liberties with the ball. He controls everything stone dead. It all looks perfect." [LNB][LNB][LNB][LNB]
