Manchester United hand trial to Chicago Fire keeper Sean Johnson

Magic Johnson: Chicago Fire keeper Sean[LNB]Manchester United are to take a closer look at USA goalkeeper Sean Johnson after granting him a trial next month. [LNB]The Chicago Fire keeper will head to Manchester in December during the MLS close season. [LNB]The 6ft 4in tall, 22-year-old Johnson featured against United in a pre-season friendly in July, which United won 3-1.[LNB]Johnson made his international debut in January this year and could become the second American keeper to join the Red Devils. [LNB]USA's current No 1 Tim Howard moved to Old Trafford in 2003 from the MetroStars, now known as New York Red Bulls.
