Manchester United go clear as Sir Alex Ferguson praises Blackpool comeback

Roaring back: Dimitar Berbatov hit two goals[LNB]Dimitar Berbatov's double saved Manchester United on a rollercoaster night at Blackpool that put Sir Alex Ferguson's side five points clear at the top of the Barclays Premier League. [LNB]Goals by Craig Cathcart and DJ Campbell gave Blackpool a two-goal cushion at half-time but Berbatov scored either side of equaliser from Javier Hernandez, with the Bulgarian striker's winner coming two minutes from time. [LNB]Ferguson said: 'They just never give in. In the first half we were battered. We couldn't handle Charlie Adam. We were terrible. We were all over the place. Maybe we were too confident. [LNB]'We changed at half-time, Ryan Giggs made a tremendous difference. [LNB]'I know the game's never done in situations like today,' he said. 'You know at some point we're going to do something. 'You'll get games like tonight. Maybe sometimes we won't come back but we'll always try to come back.'[LNB] Sweet pea: Ferguson was full of praise for goal-scorer Hernandez, or 'Chicharito'[LNB]Ferguson reserved special praise forgoalscorers Hernandez and Berbatov. Of Hernandez, he said: 'His paceand timing of the runs is fantastic. He's so good at that. He couldhave scored four goals. He's made a tremendous impact.' [LNB]And of Berbatov he added: 'He's having a great season. He has great talent. The third goal, the composure, I was screaming for him to square it to Chicharito but, no, he has the confidence and ability to do what he did.'[LNB] Scare: United defender Rafael was taken off on a stretcher late on[LNB] There was a late scare for United as Rafael was taken off on a stretcher, leading to 10 minutes of stoppage time. [LNB]'He's gone to hospital,' said Ferguson. 'We just hope he's okay. He's got concussion, we know that, we just hope everything else is okay.'
