Manchester United fans planning Sir Matt Busby tribute prior to Champions League final

Busby, who died in 1994, managed United from 1945 to 1969 and has been described by Sir Alex Ferguson as "the heartbeat" of the club. His reign included the Busby Babes era which was dominated by the Munich air crash, as well as the 4-1 European Cup triumph over Benfica at Wembley. He would have turned 100 on the eve of the final. "We wanted to do something special to mark his birthday," said United chief executive David Gill.
