Manchester United last night confirmed they are in the hunt for Crystal Palace youngster Wilfried Zaha. Chief exectuive David Gill confirmed the club 'are looking' at the youngster, as Sir Alex Ferguson looks to add more competition to his squad, due to the inconsistent performances from his wingers.
David Gill said: “He is one of the players that we are looking at.
“That is all I will say at the moment. I’ve been in football long enough to say that is not done until it’s done. He’s one of the players we are looking at, but it is far from done.”
Despite Gill claiming the deal is 'far from done', Sir Alex is desperate for the 20 year old, and believes he has the mentality and skill to play at Manchester United for many years.
