Manchester United 'agree terms' with David de Gea replacement

Louis van Gaal's Manchester United and Tottenham stopper Hugo Lloris have 'agreed personal terms' over a proposed move according to French paper L'Equipe.

With David de Gea's move to Real Madrid looking almost guaranteed, the Old Trafford club are moving to bring in an adequate replacement to their two-time Manchester United Player of the Year.

And now French paper L'Equipe (translation required) are reporting that the Red Devils and Hugo Lloris have agreed personal terms, leaving the small task of negotiating a fee with Tottenham Chairman Daniel Levy.

L'Equipe claim that Levy has given Lloris his word that if a club submits a bid of £18million or more then he'll be allowed to leave White Hart Lane.

United are more than capable of paying that relatively small fee and in doing so would allow the club to close any deal with Real Madrid for de Gea, putting an end to speculation and rumour around the fan favourite.

The Daily Star report that United are also interested in Atletico Madrid keeper Jan Oblak, as well as Ajax and Netherlands international Jasper Cillessen.
