Manchester United a disaster? Or just a slow start?

After an admittedly disappointing summer transfer window from David Moyes in his first months at his new club acquiring only Marouane Fellaini and a young Uruguayan defender called Guillermo Varela.

Manchester United have made the worst start to a league campaign in 24 years losing in two big derbies to Manchester City and Liverpool both away from home. The Manchester City game united was outclassed all over the pitch for the whole 90 minutes and deservedly lost the match 4-1. The same could be said for the Liverpool fixture as well.

They have also struggled to find their feet at home this season with a 2-1 defeat to Steve Clarkes West Brom and an unconvincing win over struggling Crystal Palace, David Moyes is already under pressure just 2 months into his managerial reign, their main man last season RVP has been struggling for fitness and form since the Swansea game, Ashley Young has been creating controversy with his diving and Fellaini has so far struggled to adapt to the high standards.

However it’s not all doom and gloom for the Red Devils Wayne Rooney has been used in his favoured more advanced role alongside Van Persie and has so far flourished like we all know he can. Adnan Januzaj has emerged from the academy and scored a brace on his first start, the 18 year old scored a stunner against Sunderland and showed us all there is much to come from this young starlet.

Some could argue that united are merely having teething problems and have had a tough start, But it should be noted that after the international break united have a favourable run of fixtures in which to iron out there bad form, get Van Persie firing again and start to bring through Januzaj. United are only six points off the top and have in past seasons always failed to get going before Christmas.

It all gets said and done in the months after Christmas United can never be written off!
