Man Utd 2 Fulham 0: Berbatov and Valencia make up for Fergie's Grand National disappointment

09 April 2011 04:19
There was no Grand National glory for Sir Alex Ferguson but Manchester United made up for the disappointment as first-half strikes from Dimitar Berbatov and Antonio Valencia sent them 10 points clear at the top of the Barclays Premier League.

Berbatov netted his 22nd goal of the season when he was given the benefit of the doubt with a very tight offside decision.

Valencia doubled the lead just after the half-hour when he nodded home from close range after Aaron Hughes had tried to clear Nani's goalbound effort.
