Federico Macheda's agent has ruled out a possible loan move back to Serie A this summer. The 17-year-old has burst onto the first-team scene at Old Trafford this season, scoring crucial winning goals against Aston Villa and Sunderland. The young Italian, who joined United from Lazio, is set to be rewarded with a new long-term deal at Old Trafford, but reports in his homeland suggested that he could be farmed out on loan. Both Sampdoria and Parma - who have previously successfully taken Giuseppe Rossi on loan from United - are keen on Macheda. However, his representative Giuseppe Bia has ruled out the prospect of a deal and cannot see the Rossi situation happening again. "I do not think there is scope for a loan move in the summer to Sampdoria or Parma," said Bia to Calcio Mercato. "Manchester is a large club and has plans for him, I do not forsee another deal similar to that of when Rossi came to Italy." Macheda, who will be hoping to involved in the UEFA Champions Legaue final in his homeland when United face Barcelona in Rome next week, is celebrating being called into Italy's preliminary squad for the European Under-21 Championships this summer.
