Macheda Learns A Lot In Italy

Federico Macheda thinks he will be back at Old Trafford a better player than he was when he left for a loan spell with Sampdoria. The 19-year-old spent the second-half of last season on loan to the Genoa based club after he could not command a first team place at Old Trafford. He reckons he has lern’t a lot from his time out on loan and although initial reports say that he did well for the club, he efforts could not help the team from being relegated from the Serie A.He told Sky Italia: "Psychologically it was not easy because to go from United to Sampdoria and to fight to avoid the drop was a difficult situation."I wanted to have an experience in Italy but now I want to remain in the Premier League. "England is better suited for young players." "I arrived in Genoa with great enthusiasm," he added."The first few games the team and I did very well but after the defeat to Napoli, I did not find continuity."
