Lindegaard Out For Rest Of Season

According to the Sun newspaper, Manchester United goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard could miss the rest of the season after suffering a recurrence of an ankle ligament problem.

The last time the Dane took to the field for United was in January after picking up an injury in training. There is no rush to get him back, he needs to rebuild the strength in his ankle.

At first it was expected that the 27-year-old would be out of action for around a month, but it seems the injury is more complicated than first thought.

Sir Alex Ferguson has been told that there is no specific return date and the progress that is being made is very slow.
