Leeds United are looking for a favour from hated rivals Manchester United.

The Yorkshire club are interested in taking reserve winger Lee Martin on loan as they look to get their League One promotion bid back on track.

Martin, 22, also interests Swansea and Crystal Palace. He signed for United in 2005 after coming through the Wimbledon youth scheme, but he has been restricted to just two League Cup appearances for Sir Alex Ferguson's men.

The Englishman made 14 appearances - scoring once - during a loan spell at Nottingham Forest during the first half of the season and he has enjoyed previous short-term moves to Sheffield United, Plymouth, Stoke and Rangers.
