Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar has denied speculation he is set for talks with Manchester United over a move to the Barclays Premier League. Julio Cesar is widely regarded as one of the world's best goalkeepers and reports suggest United will do their utmost to prise him away from the San Siro in January to replace the ageing Edwin van der Sar, following a number of poor performances from Ben Foster. The Brazil international's wife revealed that a "big club" have made enquiries but Julio Cesar has dismissed her comments, saying: "I deny everything. I have a contract with Inter." Meanwhile, Inter have also rubbished the reports and technical director Marco Branca claims the club are working on a new deal for the 30-year-old whose contract runs to 2012. "We are already working on a solution," Branca said. "Soon his contract will be sorted out. "I don't see any problems, the discussions are continuing in a calm way." According to Julio Cesar's agent, United are interested in the Inter number one, but Josias Cardoso is confident of putting an end to speculation shortly by agreeing a new deal with the Serie A club. "United showed their interest for Julio but until now have not made an official offer," he said. "At the moment we are talking with Inter to renew Julio's contract, but we have not yet arrived at an agreement. "I hope to succeed before the end of the month, that's my aim."
