Jurgen Klinsmann tips Manchester United star Wayne Rooney for the European of the Year award

Wayne Rooney[LNB]Former Germany striker and coach Jurgen Klinsmann believes Wayne Rooney is prime candidate to win the European Player of the Year award.[LNB]Klinsmann has enjoyed watching the Manchester United striker terrorise defences this season and expects to challenge for the coveted prize.[LNB]Speaking at the UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour in Los Angeles, Klinsmann told UEFA.com: 'Wayne is playing a tremendous season. He's really hungry for goals, and he wants trophies now. He looks calm and confident.
