Javier Hernandez revels in debut season at Manchester United

[LNB]The Mexican striker has enjoyed a stellar campaign for United, scoring 20 goals as the Red Devils strode to the Barclays Premier League title and reached the Champions League final. [LNB]Hernandez was also the man brought down by Paul Robinson to gain United the penalty which secured the point required to clinch a record 19th championship at Blackburn. [LNB]'This is unbelievable,' he told MUTV. 'Of course I imagined that we could win the title but I never thought I would play so often and score so many goals.[LNB]'I am delighted to be part of this great team.'[LNB] Hernandez dismissed any debate about the validity of United's penalty, even though Blackburn clearly felt he had made the most of Robinson's contact. [LNB]'It was definitely a penalty,' he said. 'I felt the contact. I wasn't trying to be unfair or get a penalty that was not there. [LNB] Title-deciding: Hernandez is brought down at Blackburn for the crucial penalty[LNB]'We know Wayne Rooney loves that type of moment, under that pressure. We knew he would score to win us the title.'[LNB] United returned to Manchester to enjoy their evening, with Rooney particularly elated to 'knock Liverpool off their perch', shaving the number 19 into his chest hair and then sending it across the globe via his Twitter account.[LNB] However, the focus will soon return to training and preparations for the Champions League final with Barcelona at Wembley on May 28. [LNB]'We could do the double,' he said. 'I dream about that. We are working to win the Champions League. We can celebrate in two weeks' time.
