Is Vidal's big money move to Manchester United off?

Arturo Vidal's move to Manchester united seems to have been put into jeopardy as the Chilean has apparently ruled out a move to Old Trafford according to the Daily Mail by saying ''I do not go to Manchester. Can I say I will remain with Juve? I don’t know' when asked about his future after arriving back in Turin after his holiday.

United have been after the central midfielder all summer wanting him to come and add steel to the midfield as well as an attacking threat, currently Louis Van Gaal sees his midfield as a man short and would like to add more to it after adding Ander Herrera so far this summer and only having Micheal Carrick and Herrera as his defensive/central midfield options at the moment and he is said to be available around the £36 million mark although he has 3 years left on his contract in Turin he could be seen as a good deal for clubs.

He would certainly be seen as a big name signing for any club in Europe and United are not his only admirers with Real Madrid, Liverpool and Arsenal all said to be interested in him although Madrid's interest may have cooled with the additions of Toni Kroos and James Rodriguez. The Chilean's record is certainly one to be admired with him with him contributing 18 goals and 5 assists in 47 Appearances when helping Juve to there 3rd title in 3 years after moving from Bayer Leverkusen, he is said to be a all round midfielder with him being able to break up play and tackle as well as he can score and set up goals.

Vidal who played for Chile in this years World Cup where they reached the Quarter Finals before losing out on penalties to the hosts Brazil would certainly have other admirers if United miss out on him with Liverpool apparently ready to pounce with a £42.5 million according to the Metro. If they fail to acquire his services it wouldn't be surprising if United looked elsewhere with them looking at people like William Carvalho, Sami Khedira and Nigel De Jong all having been linked to the United so far this summer.
