Is new Manchester United boss Moyes a small fish in a big pond?

So today I read today that Man Utd have signed a right back, and to be honest and not to be disrespectful, I have never heard of him. It then got me thinking, can Moyes adapt to be successful at United?

Now what got me thinking this was the fact he has been at Everton with very little money and has always had to scrimp and scrap around and most importantly sell, he has now moved to the biggest club in England where he doesn't have to sell and has money to burn in his pocket, so I think we all expected some massive signing to be his first one like Baines or Fellaini instead we got Guillermo Varela.

Now don’t get me wrong the kid may turn out to be the best right back in the world but I just didn't see it as being a big enough statement of intent from Moyes, yeah he may be one for the future but I just thought we would have a “Look at me I'm going to win the league” signing and not at kid from Athletic Penarol.

I'm just hoping that if he is going to make any more signings then he is going to show us that he can handle being at a big club and bring in Marque signings, maybe he needs Rio to go up to him and say “here boss this is Man United you don’t have to scrimp any more” for him to realise.

It must be ore inspiring and Christmas all in one for Moyes one day at Everton no (disrespect intended) then to wake up and think “I'm at Man United” maybe I'm being a bit harsh with my opinion and should give David time to show us what he has always been longing to do in the market but has never had the cash to do it, so David my message to you is the chairman doesn't have short arms and long pockets so show us your clout and make us sit there and think you mean business.
