Is Cristiano Ronaldo Forcing His Way To Manchester United?

Cristiano Ronalo has waited 11 months for a new contract at Real Madrid – and could now force his way out of the Spanish outfit, just like he did at Manchester United, who ironcially enough, are favourites to land the Portuguese captain.

Although Ronaldo has an astonishing £810million buy-out clase, this summer he will have just two years left on his contract. After waiting almost a year for a new contract [due to the new tax laws in Spain], what if Ronaldo were too snub a new deal from the Real Madrid board?

Frustrated Ronaldo watched Lionel Messi land a new six-year deal at Barcelona worth over £100m. The winger was promised a new contract himself in January by Real president Florentino Perez.

But it has yet to be signed and last week Madrid were playing catch-up, saying Ronaldo will get a six-year deal worth up to £25m a season.

It may be too late. Ronaldo has told former United team-mates he wants to return and Madrid officials have already discussed a transfer fee they would accept — around £122m.

Ronaldo wants to feel loved at Madrid, where he is still on his original contract at the Santiago Bernabeu. Whereas Lionel Messi, has signed an astonishing SIX new contracts at Barcelona, in just seven years.
