Inter boss Jose wouldn't swap Zlatan... even for United's Cristiano

Jose Mourinho insists he would not swap his Inter Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic for European and World Player of the Year Cristiano Ronaldo. The Manchester United winger can claim to be the best player on the planet, while Ibrahimovic has scored 22 goals this season to fire Inter to the Serie A title but has invariably underachieved against Premier League opponents in the Champions League. Despite that, the Portuguese coach is a huge admirer of the Swedish international striker and considers him irreplaceable. Mourinho said: 'Ronaldo is a fantastic player. Cristiano is super, super, super. 'But if they told me that Sir Alex Ferguson wanted to swap Ronaldo for Ibrahimovic, I would not change. Ibrahimovic thinks like me.' However, Mourinho is hopeful of tempting his former player Ricardo Carvalho away from Chelsea to join him at the Serie A champions. The Portugal defender, who played under his compatriot at Stamford Bridge and Porto, was linked to Inter after Mourinho took over last season but a deal never materialised. 'Carvalho is one of the best central defenders in the world,' Mourinho said. 'A year ago it was impossible to think of him. Now I think it is.' Mourinho said Inter were also interested in signing 20-year-old Austrian winger Marko Arnautovic from Dutch club Twente Enschede.
