I'm not leaving Old Trafford despite Barca and Milan interest, insists Vidic

Nemanja Vidic will not be leaving Manchester United this summer - 'unless some Arab makes a crazy offer'. That is the assessment of his agent Paolo Fabbri following interest from Barcelona and AC Milan, as well as reports linking him to Real Madrid and Inter Milan in the last week. Sportsmail revealed last month that United had concerns as Vidic's wife Ana has struggled to settle in Manchester and is keen on moving away from the city to a better climate. But Fabbri told setanta.com: 'I don't think we will have any surprises in the short term. We are not planning to move. 'Barcelona and many other teams can be interested in Vidic - that is another story. Three or four Italian teams would be pleased to have the player. But he is under contract. His deal has been already extended until 2012.' Fabbri revealed he met David Gill last week and assured the Manchester United chief executive that the 27-year-old Serbia international's future remained at Old Trafford.
