I'll be No 1 at United by the time you're back, Ben Foster tells Van der Sar
Ben Foster says he plans to make the No.1 spot at Manchester United his own while Edwin van der Sar is out with injury.
The Dutch goalkeeper suffered a hand injury and has been ruled out for six weeks.
And Foster, 26, believes that will give him enough time to establish himself as the first-team goalkeeper at Old Trafford.
Foster said: 'I've just got to do what I can in the period when he's out. 'When he's fit again I'll hopefully have done enough to stayin.'
