Jose Mourinho admits he would leave Inter Milan for Manchester United if Sir Alex Ferguson retired next season. Speculation about when Ferguson, 67, will end his long reign at Old Trafford has been ongoing since he changed his mind about quitting when he turned 60 seven years ago. His son Darren Ferguson, manager of League One side Peterborough, has also hinted it could be the summer of 2010 when his father finally walks away from the game. And former Chelsea boss Mourinho has revealed there is no way we could turn down managing United if approached about the job. 'Who can say no? Nobody could say "no",' he said. 'Manchester United belongs to a small group of clubs around the world where nobody can say "no".' However the 46-year-old Portuguese does not believe Ferguson willquit Old Trafford and says he should shelve any proposed plans for retirement. Mourinho added: 'But I don't believe he is leaving in 2010. I think he will be the same the year after, healthy and happy. 'I don't see a reason for him to quit and I hope he still goes on.'
