Horton draws on survival experience

Hull assistant boss Brian Horton will draw on his experience of last-day escapes from relegation when his side face Manchester United. City must beat the champions at the KC Stadium to guarantee a second season in the Premier League, while anything less could open the door to their rivals. "You have just got to be calm and try to temper everything you do," said Horton. "As staff have got to be calm. It is no good us being nervous - but there are going to be nerves around. "There is going to be a lot of tension and chopping and changing but, the point is, it is in our own hands. We need to go to win, you can't go to draw. We have got to try to win. "I've seen many things before in my career and it can change up to the last minute. (At Luton) we played at Man City and we had to win - they had to draw - and we beat them. "I had another one when I was at Brighton and we had to win our last four games to stay up, and we did. I have had it on other occasions where we have had to rely on someone else - but at the moment we are relying on ourselves and that is the main thing."
