Holden Injury A Bad One

21 March 2011 19:13
Bolton Wanderers midfielder Stuart Holden is expected to be out of action for up to 6 months after the injury he picked up in the game with United on Saturday. Holden was taken to the hospital following a tackle from United’s defender Jonny Evans who subsequently earned himself a red card for the challenge. The wound left on the player’s knee took 26 stitches to seal. X-rays were taken and although it was confirmed that Holden had escaped a broken leg, a further MRI scan is needed to see whether he had suffered any muscular or ligament problems on his knee. Holden will now be out of action for up to 6 months.
