Harry Redknapp: Sir Alex Ferguson and I will die before we retire

Harry Redknapp has no desire to walk away from football after his recent health scare. [LNB]The Tottenham manager won't be on the touchline for his side's clash with Fulham following heart surgery.[LNB]Redknapp was discharged from hospital on Thursday but has been told to rest up at his Dorset home and return after the international break.[LNB] Making his point: Redknapp won't turn his back on the game despite his recent scare [LNB]Redknapp, 64, said: 'I always said they will probably end up taking Sir Alex Ferguson out of Old Trafford in a box and I'll probably be exactly the same. [LNB]'It will take more than a minor heart scare to convince me to walk away from the game. [LNB]'The only other way I'll walk away from football is the day I stop enjoying it and that isn't going to happen any day soon. On the contrary, I have probably never been happier in the job than I am now.[LNB] Guard of honour: Fergie celebrated 25 years at Old Trafford on Saturday [LNB] 'I feel extremely fortunate to be involved in football and working for a great club with a superb group of players. Honestly, I even get a buzz out of watching the lads train, so my enthusiasm has never been greater.' [LNB]Tottenham, who are on an unbeaten run in the Premier League stretching back to August's defeat by Manchester City, travel to Fulham for Sunday's kick-off.[LNB] But Redknapp will watch the London derby at home under strict orders from his doctors.[LNB] 'Sandra thinks it will be even more stressful for me stuck at home.[LNB] 'I'll be up off the sofa every minute and even more frustrated because I'm powerless to do anything sat indoors. And it's a big game for us.[LNB] 'We're in great form having taken 19 points from 21. But Fulham is always a tough game for us. [LNB]'We will have to be on top of our game to beat them. 'The competition to finish in the top four, which is our ultimate goal, is going to be tough.' [LNB]
