Manchester United stalwart Ryan Giggs admits his distinguished career is all down to the careful guidance of Sir Alex Ferguson.[LNB] The reigning PFA Player of the Year is one of the most decorated performers ever to grace the Premier League, with eleven league titles and countless other accolades to his name.[LNB]Over the course of a 19-year career at Old Trafford he has won just about every major team and individual honour available.[LNB]However, the modest 35-year insists he would never have been able to achieve so much were it not for his manager - who has been alongside him every step of the way.[LNB]"(Sir Alex) has been the biggest influence in my career. He's watched me play since I was 13 so it's been over 20 years," Giggs told United's official website.[LNB]"I watch him closely, the hunger and desire to keep improving and not just settle for a couple of trophies. Each season he takes up the challenge and wants to win more."[LNB]RelaxedGiggs has had plenty of time to get used to the infamous Ferguson hair-dryer treatment, but he insists the Scot has mellowed with age.[LNB]"He's a lot more relaxed and calm now," he added.[LNB]"When I first came to the club as a 13-year-old I'd never seen anything like it - the team talks.[LNB]"Even with the youth team he would have a go at us at half-time. But I think he enjoys watching this team play and watching us develop."[LNB]
