Giggs focused on Reds` treble bid

Ryan Giggs dismissed the latest landmark in his staggering career and instead maintained a steely focus on Manchester United's Treble quest. Giggs became United's oldest European outfield player over the course of the two legs against Chelsea, eclipsing the record previously held by Laurent Blanc. The 37-year-old continues to defy time too, claiming the assist for all three goals in a 3-1 aggregate win that allowed United to cement a Champions League semi-final berth for the fourth time in five years. Schalke or Inter Milan will bar progress to a place in the final at Wembley on May 28 but before that, United must tackle City in an eagerly anticipated Manchester derby FA Cup semi-final on Saturday. And it is this rather than the personal milestones which really interest the veteran Welshman. "I wasn't aware of this latest one," said Giggs. "It will soon be forgotten. I am just pleased to be involved in performances like this one. "The quarter-finals of the Champions League - you want to play in these games. And when you finish, these are the games that you are going to miss."
