German Coach In Fear Of Rooney

24 June 2010 06:18
Joachim Low is very wary of United striker Wayne Rooney ahead of Germany's clash with England in the World Cup on Sunday. Both teams reached the last 16 after narrow wins on Wednesday and now go head to head for a place in the last 8 in Bloemfontein. The Germany coach is expecting a tough test from England and is particularly fearful of Rooney who he believes could suddenly burst into form at any time although he has had a bit of a slow start. He said: “Rooney may not have been a big gun so far but he is always ready to explode, he is difficult to mark and control so our defence will need to watch that he doesn’t score.”
