Kuszczak: Made one early superb save but it only delayed the inevitable. No chance for goals 6 Fletcher: Gave it his all in the three man defence but his spark unfortunately missed in that role 6 Carrick: Exposed this time in his emergency role. Struggled at times when in direct combat with Zamora 5 De Laet: Three man defence made it tough for the Belgian as did coming up against Zamora 5 Evra: Disadvantaged when in advanced role and Duff made hay 5 Valencia: Rarely had the opportunity to get at Fulham and when he did he ran into trouble 5 Scholes: Not his day at all. Early booking for bad tackle and much of his passing was off 4 Gibson: Was largely anonymous in the midfield battle and off target with a couple of trademark blockbuster chances 4 Anderson: The Braziian never stamped any authority on the match and his distribution was woeful 4 Rooney: Couldn't fault his endeavour as usual but it was banging head against a brick wall time 6 Owen: The confidence banked from his Wolfsburg hat trick has clearly leaked away on the bench 4 Subs: Berbatov (sub Gibson 57) No impact 4 Fabio (sub De Laet 57) Attacked well 5 Welbeck (sub Owen 72) Couldn't get into it Park, Tosic, Obertan, Foster not used Fulham: Schwarzer, Konchesky, Pantsil, Hangeland, Baird, Gera, Murphy (Dikgacio 80), Duff (Greening 76), Hughes, Dempsey, Zamora (Nevland 90) Goals:Fulham: Murphy (21) Zamora (46) Duff (74) United: Bookings: Fulham: United: Scholes (7) Battle of the Bosses:Three man defence didn't work for Reds and Hodgson had the side with most confidence at his disposal Referee: Howard Webb - Firmly in command 7 Agree with the ratings?
