Foxes may dip into loan market

Assistant boss Craig Shakespeare says leaders Leicester City could dip into the loan market ahead of the clash at Peterborough. The Foxes head to London Road without three key players. Striker Steve Howard is suspended and midfielder Andy King is on international duty with the Wales Under-21 squad, while on-loan playmaker Tom Cleverley has returned to Manchester United to receive treatment after suffering a dislocated shoulder in the 1-1 home draw against Colchester at the weekend.Shakespeare has faith in the players already at the Walkers Stadium, but refused to be drawn on whether there would be any new arrivals ahead of Thursday's deadline for emergency loan deals."I think that as a football club we are always looking to improve. We are without those players but we do have players in the background that can come into the team and do a good job," Shakespeare told the club's official website."Paul Dickov came on at the weekend and scored to get us a point."It is an ongoing situation, but come Thursday we will assess it and see."[LNB]
