Fletcher keen to replicate United form
Darren Fletcher has admitted he has not replicated his Manchester United form for Scotland - and he wants to put it right against Lithuania.[LNB] Fletcher has established himself as one of United's most important players in recent seasons, but has struggled to make the same impact in a Scotland shirt.[LNB]The midfielder is aware that his performances for the Premier League giants raise the level of expectation when he turns up for Scotland duty.[LNB]And, ahead of the country's opening Euro 2012 qualifier against Lithuania on Friday, the 26-year-old is ready to shine for Scotland.[LNB]"There's no doubt that there's a situation just now where I'm playing better for United than I am for Scotland and that's something I want to put right," said Fletcher. [LNB]"The expectations of me are high, but not so high that they're not reachable. [LNB]"Maybe because they see my performances in a United shirt they expect the same with Scotland, but it's a different situation with different players. It's achievable, though.[LNB]"I know what the players in the Scotland team are capable of and what passes you can and can't play to different guys.[LNB]"My performance in Sweden was nothing spectacular. I wouldn't say I did anything bad, but it was a below average performance."
