Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher has spoken of his determination to play in a Champions League final. [LNB] Fletcher was an unused substitute against Chelsea in the 2008 showpiece, missed out the following year due to suspension and was kept on the sidelines by a virus as United lost to Barcelona last season.[LNB]The Red Devils are among the favourites to go all the way to the next European final in Munich, and will continue their group stage campaign with a home game against Basel on Tuesday.[LNB]Fletcher not only hopes to help the Red Devils get to the final, he also dreams of playing in a winning team.[LNB]Asked if the Champions League had dealt him a rough hand, the Scot said: "In terms of not managing to play in a final, definitely. I'm desperate to play in one and win one too. [LNB]"It is a goal for all the lads to get back into the final. We are desperate to do so." [LNB]Fletcher recognises United's biggest test is likely to come if they again cross paths with reigning champions Barcelona, who triumphed at Wembley last season.[LNB]He added: "The manager has mentioned Barcelona are the challenge that lies ahead for everyone in Europe. If we want to win it, it is up to us to rise to the challenge."
