Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson recognises that this season's Premier League title race could go right to the wire.[LNB] Defending champions United have returned to the summit on the back of a run of seven straight victories since returning from the Fifa Club World Cup.[LNB]But Ferguson is taking nothing for granted and acknowledges that this campaign's race for glory could be one of the closest yet.[LNB]"You have to put your mind to the possibility that the title could go down to the last few games," said the Scot.[LNB]"I expect the worst and hope for the best."[LNB]Ferguson, though, insists he would happily head to Hull City on the final day under the same circumstances as he travelled to Wigan last season, knowing a win would seal the trophy.[LNB]"That would be fine," he added.[LNB]"It would be a position I would take at the start of the season and it could very well be that way this year."[LNB]
