Ferguson expects Beckham transfer

After four years in La Liga he quit Spain to join American side LA Galaxy but after just two seasons in the MLS, Beckham looks ready to return to Europe. And Ferguson believes Beckham should not miss out on the chance to continue with one of Europe's elite clubs."If they [Milan] give him that opportunity it would be silly not to take it," he added."He's had a spell at Galaxy and, fine, they've paid him an awful lot of money and they should have some loyalty from him."But being selfish, if I was given the chance to go to Milan, I would take it. There's no chance he can do it in two years."His desire to continue playing for England and to make the squad for the 2010 World Cup is thought to be behind his desire to remain at AC Milan beyond 9 March.England coach Fabio Capello has been impressed with the midfielder during his short spell with the team he twice managed."I'm very happy for David (Beckham) and for AC Milan," said Capello."He is a media star and for this reason all the fans spoke about him in this way before he arrived; like a star not a player. But now he has played three games, and every game has been better."Milan want him to stay, and the fans are very happy for his style of play and the performances for the team."
