Fergie To Go For The 96

With United having one hand already on the Premiership trophy for the past few weeks many have been wondering if the Reds could possibly beat Chelsea's record Premier League points haul.

Go back to 1995 and the record books show that Chelsea won the league with95 points and that is a record that still stands some 18 years later.

But Sir Alex Ferguson sees no reason why his side can't beat that record this time around, but it would mean winning the last five games on the bounce.

And one of them games will be against Chelsea.

Fergie said: "It`s not beyond the team at all."

"If you`re asking if Manchester United can win five games in a row, well, how many times have we done that? So it`s not beyond us."
