Fergie Stays Tight Lipped About Rooney
Sir Alex Ferguson addressed the media early today but he was not answering questions on the future of Wayne Rooney at Old Trafford. Ferguson is preparing his side for a Champions League clash with Bursaspor on Wednesday, but the press were more interested in the Rooney saga. Reports have it that the striker has refused to sign a new deal with the club, there is also supposed to be some sort of rift between player and manager. United have released a statement denying they were looking to sell Rooney in January, but there has been no comment from the manager on talk of a rift.
