Fergie questions media treatment of Rio

Sir Alex Ferguson has pointed the finger at the media after Rio Ferdinand's form was questioned.[LNB] The Manchester United and England defender has been scrutinised after he made a number of mistakes and criticism intensified after Fernando Torres beat him with ease for the first goal in Liverpool's 2-0 win last weekend.[LNB] When asked about Ferdinand's form, Ferguson said: "I'm not going into that because I read the stuff in the newspapers and I hear he is going to be dropped and all this but I don't think you have access to my mind. You can try and pick my teams but you will never pick my teams, try as much as you like."[LNB] The Scot added: "I don't know where it is coming from.[LNB] "I just have to put it down to the modern culture of humiliating people which you do very well and all the rest of it.[LNB] "I'm not getting into it."
